Caitlin Coflin

Caitlin has just finished her studies in Winnipeg in pursuit of a BA Honours in Dance from the University of Winnipeg in affiliation with the Professional Program of the School of Contemporary Dancers. Caitlin trained with the Youth Ballet and Contemporary Dance of Saskatchewan for 12 years and was a member of the ensemble and performing company. While a student at YBCS, she participated in the New Dance Horizon Pelican Project and the Ottawa Dance Festival (2003). In partnership with Michelle Gagnon she instructed the first YBCS French language pre-ballet class in 2004-06. She continued to teach pre-ballet students in French through the recreation program of the City of Winnipeg. Caitlin has also trained in summer programs at the International Music Camp at the International Peace Gardens, The School of Dance in Ottawa, Arts Umbrella in Vancouver, the Summer School Intensive at YBCS, and New Dance Horizons Summer Somatic Lab in Regina.
