Kennedy Dale Johnson

Kennedy Dale-Johnson is a Waterloo based ballet teacher and choreographer. As current Assistant Director for the CSD Dance Company her works have been performed with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, Vera Causa Opera Company, KW Chamber Orchestra and other community projects. Originally from Regina, Kennedy began her dance training at Youth Ballet of Saskatchewan and was a member of the Youth Ballet Company of Saskatchewan for six years.

Kennedy received her professional training though the Teacher Training Program at Canada’s National Ballet School and is a registered Royal Academy of Dance teacher. She has also completed her teaching associate with the ISTD (National/Folk Branch) as well as her Progressing Ballet Technique certification. In addition to teaching ballet, while previously based in Toronto, Kennedy was an outreach teacher with the Sharing Dance program at Canada’s National Ballet School, working within public schools to bring dance into the classroom. Kennedy is passionate about the importance of dance and the positive influence it has on people of all ages and walks of life. As a previous faculty member and alumni Kennedy is excited to return to Youth Ballet of Saskatchewan this summer to teach.
